QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Frequently asked questions

Who awards my qualification?
Your Level 3 to Level 6 qualifications are awarded by ABE, a long-established United Kingdom awarding body. IEF (the Institute of Economics & Finance) delivers the programmes and supports your learning. The BA (Hons) Business Administration top-up is awarded by the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
Which level should I start at?
It depends on your background and goals. Level 3 suits those new to business or starting a venture; Levels 4–6 build management capability in stages. If you already hold a relevant qualification, you may enter at a higher level. Send an enquiry on the Apply page and our admissions team will recommend the right entry point.
Are the programmes delivered online?
Yes. All IEF programmes are delivered 100% online through the IEF learning platform, with structured materials, assessments and tutor support. You can study around work and other commitments.
How do I get a UK degree through IEF?
After completing the ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management, you may progress to the final year of the BA (Hons) Business Administration awarded by the University of Hertfordshire — typically completing your honours degree in approximately one additional year of study.
How do I apply?
You can apply directly through the secure IEF admissions portal, or send an enquiry first if you’d like guidance on the right programme. See the How to Apply page for the five-step process, then head to the Apply page to begin.
Can I track my application after submitting?
Yes. Once you’ve applied through the portal, you can sign in or use the “Track an Application” link to check your status at any time.
What are the entry requirements?
Entry requirements vary by level and include progression from a lower ABE qualification. The Level 5 Diploma is the entry route to the degree top-up. Contact admissions to confirm the requirements for your chosen programme.
